DREEMSKERRY VINTAGE
Passionate About Vintage Jewellery
I love vintage jewellery and the great thing about wearing vintage is you can be unique. I also love the fact that each piece has a story to tell and I like to think about who might have owned it and loved it before me. Which era did they live in and where did they wear it? Above all, what were their lives like? Modern jewellery has it’s place and I like to wear it occasionally, but i’m a vintage kind of girl.
I love sourcing costume jewellery for Dreemskerry Vintage by designers such as Christian Dior and Givenchy. The quality is high and the designs consequently stand the test of time. I also love sterling silver Jasperware brooches and pendants by Wedgwood. Their egg shaped silver and green jasperware pendant in the ‘dancing hours’ range is shown below. These are always popular with collectors and as a result are getting harder to find. Other favourites are beautifully crafted Danish silver and enamel pieces, Scottish silver items and jewellery in fabulous geometric art deco designs.
The items below are some recent finds, including the stunning Christian Dior earrings from the 1980’s. Customers can usually find items by Dior in my ETSY shop. I was thrilled to find the large rare stunning gold tone and teal green bracelet from the 1940’s by jewellery designer Alfred Philippe for Trifari. Certainly one of my favourite pieces by Trifari, and this lovely large costume jewellery bracelet now has a new owner!
